Donate Furniture, Supplies And Goods To Local Veterans In Need

us-flag-1444564-639x472Veterans of all eras are working with the Bodhi Battalion to find relief from homelessness, addiction and other life obstacles, as well as mental and physical health ailments. We rely on the generous support of our community donors as we help veterans find safe homes and connect with the resources necessary for living a full and rewarding life. Whether you are interested in donating your gently used furniture or purchasing new items that go directly to our veterans, our organization and the brave individuals we serve are grateful for your support.

Large Or Small – An In-Kind Donation Impacts A Veteran’s Life

Many of the veterans we assist come to us without any belongings – no furniture, household goods or supplies. Getting veterans lives back on a positive track starts with finding them a safe home and filling it with life’s necessities, including basic items many of us take for granted. .

Kitchen Supplies

Glasses, cups, dishware, pots, pans, rags, silverware, dish soap and small appliances, such as coffeemakers and microwaves, are always needed. Not only are kitchen supplies a bare necessity, but they also provide our veterans with the tools to start cooking nutritious meals for themselves.

Bathroom Supplies And Toiletries

Our veterans need shower curtains and rods, towels, washcloths, bath mats, toilet paper, cleaning supplies and toiletries, such as toothbrushes, toothpaste, soap and shaving supplies. Donating bathroom supplies to veterans can help them live a clean, healthy lifestyle and often sets them up for success in the workforce.

When you donate new or gently used comforters, sheets, blankets and pillows to our veterans, you can provide them with a welcoming place to catch up on some well-deserved sleep.

You may be interested in donating your gently used or new furniture to our veterans. Typically, our veterans need mattresses, box springs, bed frames, couches, coffee tables, armoires and chairs. It is important to note that we prioritize items that are in decent condition.
